Out of Hours Cremator Operator

Six month contract

To carry out the cremation of human remains in accordance with the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management Inc. ‘Guiding Principles’ and following the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and all subsequent legislation.

Minimum hours 25 (hours) per week with the option for up to 50 to be paid at same rate. Standard is 16.00 – 21.00 Mon – Fri

Head of Grounds Maintenance

Responsible for the maintenance of the gardens and grounds with the ability to multi-task across all the disciplines within the crematorium. This includes, chapel attending, cremating and office administration.

Experience Requirements

Some landscaping / gardening experience

Moderate IT Skills (Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel / An administration package)

Machinery operation is desirable but not essential

Some background with working in office environment / administration is desirable but not essential

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer relationship management, creative vision and the ability to multi task effectively.

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Affordable Funerals – Home Based Administrator

To pursue all new pre-paid leads and enquiries by email, telephone and liaise with the applicant confirming they have received the information and discuss any queries or questions they may have. Ensure low cost funerals pre-paid plans are arranged in accordance with the clients’ wishes and that all relevant paperwork is completed and procedures are followed. To assist with “at need” enquiries and administrative duties as required and including the arrangement of funerals direct with a client and the arrangement of contract funeral services from our partnered organisations. Occasionally situations may also arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Low Cost Funerals.

Affordable Funerals – Management Accountant

We are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant who demonstrates all the skills, experience and attributes required of this role in a regulated environment. This role is multi company focused. There will be a requirement to work closely with the Financial Accountant and the wider Finance Team supporting one another to provide accurate controls and reconciliations, as well as supporting the prepartion of monthly management accounts and other reports as required, and to provide cover for one another in the case of sickness, holidays or temporary absence for professional reasons. The role will also be responsible for the provision of timely and accurate data for the FCA.

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Affordable Funerals – Pre-Arrangement Sales Administrator

To supply administrative support and issue documentation for all pre-paid sales, leads and enquiries by email, telephone and liaise with the client to confirm they have received the information and discuss any queries or questions they may have. Manage an effective diary to arrange call backs and maximise client satisfaction. Ensure low cost funerals pre-paid plans are arranged in accordance with the clients’ wishes, the FPA code of conduct and that all relevant paperwork is completed, and procedures are followed. To assist with “at need” enquiries and administrative duties as required.

Affordable Funerals – Funeral Service Operatives

Affordable Funerals are looking for National Funeral Service Operatives, that live within 20 miles of Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The role will involve driving an ambulance, having first point of contact with bereaved families and ensuring that the deceased are treated with respect in their final journey to either of two storage facilities, before onward journey to the crematorium.

Salary: £27,500 per annum
